OpenGradient Launches DevNet for On-Chain AI

OpenGradient is excited to announce the release of its devnet. As per our official X announcement, the network is now available for developers to build, test, and deploy AI models, workflows and applications. Check out our official technical documentation to learn more about OpenGradient and start building!

The devnet is the first iteration of OpenGradient’s network that the team will launch and is a big step towards building secure, seamless, and scalable infrastructure for decentralized AI. With the devnet, developers will be able to deploy AI models, inference them securely, and leverage features offered by SolidML to build AI workflows on-chain.

The release of the devnet enables developers to build more powerful and intelligent on-chain applications that weren’t possible before. Presently the devnet supports vanilla, TEE, and zkML secured inference. Over time, the OpenGradient team will continuously update the devnet to include its latest features and offerings.

Matthew Wang, co-founder and CEO of OpenGradient, said “AI has become ubiquitous in enhancing user experience across traditional web applications, with use-cases spanning from personalized news feed curation to conversational robo-advisors recommending stock picks. As Web3 verticals like DeFi, GameFi, and SocialFi continue to grow, we need scalable infrastructure that can support secure and seamless deployment of AI models into decentralized applications to ensure Web3 UX remains competitive.”

At OpenGradient, we’re particularly excited about exploring AI and ML modeling use-cases for web3 applications including defi risk analysis and optimization, reputation systems, intent execution, AI agents, and more! In addition to building these open-source models in-house, the OpenGradient team will be hosting community-based events and competitions around quantitative modeling so stay tuned if you’re interested!
